Cozinhe e esprema a batata como para purê , junte a margarina , os ovos , sal e vá juntando a farinha . Não ponha muita farinha , que tornará o nhoque pesado e duro .

Baking dish gnocchi
1 kg potatoes
2 eggs
2 tablespoons butter
about 300g ap flour
salt
about 1-2 tablespoons mayonaise
grated parmesan cheese

Cook potatoes and make a puree, add butter, eggs, salt and enough flour. Don’t add too much flour or the dough will become heavy.
Spread dough evenly in a greased baking dish. Cover with a thin mayonaise layer and sprinkle some grated cheese. Bake in a 200C oven for about 20 minutes. Cut into small bite-size pieces and serve with sauce of your choice.
PS. Ana gave me a very good idea: you could fill your gnocchi with cheese and ham slices!
